King tournaments started with a problem, The problem when teenagers were spending hours and hours in gaming, Specifically Mobile games like PUBG, Free-fire etc. It is hard to watch the youth wasting such a good amount of time of theirs and getting nothing out of it.
Since then, I constantly thought of how to Bring in a better system where the users would get something in return of their investment of time towards gaming.
I Started with a team of 10 members, most of them were collage mates, and came up with a Platform Called King Tournaments, that offered Esports on various games and as an opportunity for players to make a handsome amount in front of their time & skill investment.
King Tournaments was a Hit, 10K+ Users within a few hours of its initial launch, Within 2 Months of its official launch, the numbers were soaring uptown 2M+ Downloads and counting, celebrities took part in tournaments as a part of promotion, brands collaborated for promotions on the platforms and unknowingly we were one of the biggest successful esport ventures in India in 2018.
This big issue was also reported by the government and not sooner but the GOVT declared esports illegal and banned PUBG from India. I thought of it as a game of patience and was knowing the scope of it, after which we found an Active investor looking forward to acquire an esports firm, for which we agreed as I believe there are other big issues I must work upon.
